Kulczycki Book Prize in Polish Studies‘ Association of Slavic and Eastern European Studies (ASEEES)

We are happy to announce that Jochen Böhler’s new book „Civil War in Central Europe. The Reconstruction of Poland 1918–1921“ – the result of his long-term project as research fellow at the Imre Kertész Kolleg – just won the ‚Kulczycki Book Prize in Polish Studies‘ Association of Slavic and Eastern European Studies (ASEEES) as one of two books, which are considered the best in any discipline, on any aspect of Polish affairs published in 2018.

The book was published in English by Oxford University Press – and simultaneously in Polish by ZNAK – in November 2018.
