The Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Germany) invites applications for a fulltime Post-Doc researcher position in the externally funded project Imre Kertész Kolleg beginning on 1 October 2019.
JOB DESCRIPTION
In addition to contributing to the general tasks at the Kolleg, you will develop and pursue your own research project. This project should belong to one of two thematic fields:
either “Holocaust Aftermath History” or “The Long Transformation of 1989”
with a focus on their relevance for the history of Central and Eastern Europe. You will also take part in the preparation of applications for further funding in your research area, the organisation of relevant workshops and conferences, and in preparing the corresponding publications.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional experience in external funding applications and project implementation would be very welcome. Place of work is Jena (Germany). It is expected that you will be prepared to travel within Germany and abroad on Kolleg business.
REMUNERATION AND DURATION
Funding of the position is limited to 3 years. Salary will be based on 100 % of TV-L 13. Severely handicapped people are given preference for equal qualifications, aptitude and professional qualifications.
